In addition to making rag rugs based on my own designs I am happy to accept specialist commissions for rugs and wall hangings. Quite recently, I have undertaken commissions of various size and scale.

      rhyme or cartoon characters

Obviously prices will vary according to the size and
complexity of the work. Normally I work with recycled wool and cotton material, but I can incorporate any suitable
fabric into a design. I usually use a hessian backing (which is often recycled sacking) and work entirely with traditional hand tools, including the speed shuttle, hook and spring hook.
The techniques used in making these rugs allow for a lot of freedom in terms of the shape of a rug, so I have been asked to incorporate decorative edges to a basic rectangular rug - take a look at my gallery pages for some ideas!
